Common Questions

No prior fitness level is required. Our programs are designed to meet you where you are. Beginners start with fundamentals that build strength, flexibility, and endurance progressively. Many students begin with zero martial arts or fitness background.
Comfortable athletic clothing — shorts or athletic pants and a t-shirt. For BJJ classes, a rashguard is recommended. We provide loaner gis for your first few BJJ sessions. Avoid clothing with zippers, buttons, or pockets that could catch during training.
As with any physical activity, there is some inherent risk. However, we prioritize safety with proper warm-ups, progressive skill building, controlled sparring protocols, and professional-grade protective equipment. Our injury rate is well below industry averages.
Youth programs accept students ages 8–15. Adult classes are open to anyone 16 and older (16–17 with parental consent). We also offer specialized senior programs for adults 55+ focused on practical self-defense and mobility.
We offer flexible membership plans starting from $99/month for unlimited group classes. Family plans, student discounts, and first-responder pricing are available. Private training sessions are available at $75/hour. Contact us for a full pricing breakdown.
